Hi, I’m Gauri, an Industrial Design and Physical Computing student at Carnegie Mellon University.

I am originally from Jaipur, India. Moving from India to the US changed the way I understand design. Jaipur taught me to see beauty in detail, texture, and tradition, while Pittsburgh introduced me to structure, technology, and systems thinking.

Between these two worlds, I’ve learned to design with both intuition and logic. My work explores where design meets engineering, focusing on creating sustainable, human-centered solutions that feel thoughtful and purposeful. I’m drawn to projects that balance aesthetics with empathy, and that bring clarity to the complex.

For me, design is about connection between people, cultures, and ideas and finding meaning in the way things come together.
